Hello you are invited for camping 2 nights at Carpinteria State Beach!
It is a beautiful location, beach is walking distance, trails in the bluffs & a seal sanctuary nearby. It also has a cute little town nearby and a field for sports. It's beautiful and we will make great memories. Please try to carpool - only 5 parking spots are included (I think extra cars are $10 for the stay)
Cost is $20 each for 2 nights. This does not include food. Part of the experience is planning what you will cook outdoors. Buddy up with friends so its fun and easy. Check in after 2pm Friday, checkout by noon Sunday.
Suggested to bring: Tent (make sure it's complete), Water, Hat, Sunblock, & Food & Stove for cooking (& propane!), swimming stuff, as well as enough layers to keep you warm, sleeping bag and thick padding for sleeping. Frisbees, card games, etc. Try to buddy up with friends/borrow or go to thrift stores before buying anything. Packing list attached.
*If you feel adventurous, bring a bike! There are lots of trails through the bluffs- it's fun/challenging and has great views. For biking - bring a helmet, water, sunblock. Make sure the bike is in good shape, especially the brakes
