And the Winner is...
Ocean Challenge Rockfish Fishing Tournament
Held at Marina Del Rey on September 15
On a sunny Saturday morning as early as 6:30 am, 8 serious fishing people from age 7 to 50+ gathered at the dock of Marina Del Rey. The wind was calm and seemed to have smooth boat ride. But as soon as the boat left the bay onto the open water, the wave kept rocking the boat and made fishing people hard to keep standing while fishing. Beside the challenges of the nature, everyone kept high spirit and made the fishing tournament a memorable day in life! Here is the result.
Tournament Awards:
1st place: heaviest fish: Tad (KEA 2nd gen, participated with his son)
2nd place: longest fish: Shoko Wema
3rd place: most fish: Ruel Rodriguez
