Introducing the New Style of LAFC Saturday Diner

Potluck or Kodan Bazaar

We are going to make the dinner after the Saturday Evening Service more community-participating and fun. Please note that the complimentary dinner after Saturday Evening Service is becoming POTLUCK! When there is Kodan Bazaar, please enjoy the affordable food and dessert. We want to make the whole community participate in bringing food and enjoy varieties. The new Saturday dinner schedule in September will be as follows:

  • September 2: Kodan Bazaar - Please enjoy affordable food and dessert. There will be no complimentary dinner.

  • September 9: POTLUCK - Please bring food of 10-12 servings. If you are single, please bring 4-6 servings.

    • Last name A-I: Side dish (salad, etc.)

    • Last name J-R: Starch (rice, bread, or pasta)

    • Last name S-Z: Main dish (meat, etc.)

    • The assigned dinner team will receive potluck food, organize them on the table, put serving utensils, and wash containers and utensils after dining. (There will be no cooking by the team.)

  • September 16: Kodan Bazaar - Please enjoy affordable food and dessert. There will be no complimentary dinner.

  • September 23: POTLUCK - Please bring food of 10-12 servings. If you are single, please bring 4-6 servings.

    • Last name A-I: Main dish (meat, etc.)

    • Last name J-R: Side dish (salad, etc.)

    • Last name S-Z: Starch (rice, bread, or pasta)

    • The potluck food assignment (main dish, side dish, starch) by the last name will be rotated each time.

  • There will be 2 Saturdays by Kodan Bazaar and 2 Saturdays by Potluck in a month.
