Let us serve our community
We are deeply concerned for those affected by the wildfires that began on January 7 and continue to spread. We have been in contact with our members in the Palisades and Eaton areas, and Pastor Joshua Holmes has opened our church to provide immediate lodging for those who needed evacuation.
update: Pasadena House residents and others who stayed at church could all return home safely by January 12. Thank you for your prayers and support in bringing food and warm items!
We also recognize that some have tragically lost their church buildings in this disaster. Please join us in prayer for those who have lost loved ones, homes, businesses, and their places of worship, as well as those now staying in temporary shelters.
There are opportunities to volunteer in many areas. You may find one near your city. Let us serve the community, give whatever help we can. The following are one of them. Thanks Felicia for the information.
