Dear Beloved Volunteers, Participants, and Supporters,

On behalf of the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Los Angeles chapter, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who made the “Renewed & Rising” Relaunch Ceremony and Peace Starts With Me Tea with Intention Experience a truly beautiful and meaningful event.

Your presence, support, and active participation helped breathe new life into our vision of peace, healing, and community transformation.

Whether you helped with setting up the space, managing registration, serving lunch, presenting flowers and plaques, emceeing, capturing moments through photography, running audio/visual tech, or inviting your family, friends, and guests—thank you. Every role, seen and unseen, contributed to the success of the day. None of it would have been possible without your generosity, talent, and heart.

A highlight of the day was the Relaunch Ceremony, beautifully conducted by Dr. Katarina Connery, President of WFWP USA. Together, we had the great honor of celebrating Emma Reed for her 14 years of love and dedicated service as chairwoman of WFWP Los Angeles. Her leadership has touched countless lives and created a strong foundation for our chapter. With hearts full of gratitude, we also officially welcomed and installed our new chairwoman, Meagan Robles, whose energy and vision are already bringing new momentum to our mission.

After a warm and nourishing lunch, the Peace Starts With Me – Tea with Intention Experience brought us into heartfelt conversations at each table, reflecting on questions like:

  • What does a peaceful Monterey Park, Los Angeles, or even a peaceful world look like?

  • Why is peace rare—and what blocks it?

  • What is one action step you can take toward creating peace in your environment (family, school, work, or community) this week?

The candid and sincere reflections shared reminded us that peace begins with me—with each of us—and that our individual actions can ripple outward to shape a more loving, just, and peaceful world. By the end, we were united in spirit, committed to walking the path of peace as a community of peacebuilders.

Once again, thank you for your time, your effort, your presence, and your heart. Events like this are only possible through the dedication and unity of people like you.

We are excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working with you as we continue to grow, serve, and rise—together.

With deep gratitude and love,
