Online Meetup Money Smart by Paul Stephan

This month's online meetup will feature the Netflix documentary 'Get Smart with Money'. In it, they pair financial coaches with people in different financial situations and work through their problems together, giving them (and the viewer) practical advice. The four types of people covered were: • An NFL player • A struggling artist who spent more than she made and was stuck in the wrong job • A high-earning couple that wanted to retire in 5 years • A compulsive spender with lots of debt Each of these people was empowered to make smart financial decisions and ended the documentary in a better place. It's well-made and features several financial gurus I learned my own personal finance knowledge from. The show is about 90 minutes long, and we will take 30 minutes after the show to discuss the topics and I'll provide my own insights to any questions you may have. Feel free to invite others.
