Award Banquet for Mayors of Kern County

Hosted by Tribal Messiahs in Bakersfield

A Blessed family living in Bakersfield is inviting you to Mayors’ Award Banquet which they are hosting since 2018 as one of their Tribal Messiah activities. Please R.S.V.P. with Ocie Crawford at 661-565-6085, or email:

Dear friend, I am Ocie Crawford of the True Love Tribe. You are invited to attend an Awards Luncheon Banquet where we will be honoring all the Mayors of Kern County for their selfless work in serving our cities. We believe the Mayors of Kern County are the best Mayors in the nation thereby making Kern County the best county in America. We, the TLT, are dedicated to bringing peace, love, and unity between our governmental departments and within our community, city, and county thereby influencing the world for good.

Last year was our first Awards Banquet where we honored six persons/groups for their selfless work in serving the community. Mayor Karen Goh, presented the awards, and former Mayor Mr. Harvey Hall, was the keynote speaker who also received an award. Several Mayors were in attendance and two Mayors who couldn’t attend because of prior commitments, asked if we could make the Award Banquet an annual event, and we obliged.

Mr. Harvey Hall and Mr. Ed Grimes, former Mayors of Bakersfield and Tehachapi respectively, who ascended earlier this year, will also be honored posthumously. This may very well be a once in a lifetime event.

Our tables can seat up to 10 persons, so we encourage you to invite your family and friends to share this historic moment with you. For food purposes, if possible, please include names/number of guest when you make your reservation.
