Saturday Service with Inaugural Ceremony
May 7 at L.A. Family Church
Welcome back, Rev. & Mrs. Thompson! They are in L.A. for a couple of days and will go to Las Vegas for Sunday schedule. This Saturday May 7th the Sermon will be given by Rev. Kevin Thompson.
Recently True Mother emphasized making model churches throughout the USA. She asked Subregional Directors to focus on making existing local churches model churches. Rev. Thompson will oversee Los Angeles Family Church directly as well as Bay Area Family Church.
We will have an Inaugural Ceremony this Saturday, May 7 during the Service. Please see the HQ memo below.
Come early for coffee & donuts fellowship at 4:30 pm. The service starts at 5 pm. Light dinner will be served afterward.
We have Sunday School classes! Please bring your children.

Dear Pastors, Community Leaders, Brothers and Sisters,
First, we would like to express our appreciation for your dedication and commitment to support Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ providence in America.
During recent events in Korea, True Mother guided the regional, national and subregional leadership in America to focus on local church growth.
Therefore, the national and subregional leadership will take on the following local pastoral responsibilities:
Subregion 1:
● Our Regional President Dr. Chung Sik Yong will take on the responsibility as the Pastor of KEA NJ and as the Senior Pastor of the Clifton Family Church.
● Rev. Naokimi Ushiroda, National President and Subregion 1 director, will take on the responsibility as the main pastor of the Clifton Family Church.
Subregion 2:
● Rev. Ernest Patton, Subregion 2 director, will take on the responsibility as the Senior Pastor of the Capital Family Church.
Subregion 3:
● Rev. Kazuo Takami, Subregion 3 director, will take on the responsibility as the Senior Pastor of the Chicago Family Church.
Subregion 4:
● Rev. John Jackson, Subregion 4 director, will remain as the Senior Pastor of the DFW Family Church.
Subregion 5:
● Rev. Kevin Thompson, Subregion 5 director, will remain the Pastor of the Bay Area Family Church, and will take on the responsibility as the Senior Pastor of Los Angeles Family Church.
Let us unite with True Mother’s direction and work together to substantiate Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ dream for America.
