We are pleased to announce that our Church Picnic is back! Please join us on Sunday, August 3 at Whittier Narrows Group Picnic Area #1. We will celebrate the SUMMER! Please share the news with others and invite your family and friends!
Date & Time: Sunday, August 3, 2025 @10 am - 2 pm
Park & Address: Whittier Narrows Group Picnic Area #1, 622 Santa Anita Ave., South El Monte, CA 91733
Parking: On-site paid parking: $7/vehicle ($5 for Seniors), cash only. Free street parking nearby about 10-15 minutes walk.
What will be provided: a large fenced picnic area with over 40 concrete tables and chairs, Sunday Service, hot water and coffee for early comers, kid’s playground and public bathrooms on he other side of our picnic area, hot dogs (limited quantity), and drinking water in a big cooler.
What to bring:
Lunch, water, drinks, snack food, blankets, sunscreen, songs, frisbees, comfortable clothing with a sweater or two (casual dress), minor first aid, parking money ($7/vehicle, $5/Seniors, cash only), kid’s bicycles, sunglasses, etc.
Activities: There will be fun activities for all ages!
Contest (planned): Singing (3 awards), Cherry Pit Spitting (1 winner each: male/female)
