LA Family Church will celebrate the 3rd Annual Ocean Day!
September 15th at Marina Del Rey "Mother's Beach"
L.A. Family Church will celebrate the 3rd Annual Ocean Day on September 15 at "Mother's Beach" Marina Del Rey! Sunday Service will be on the beach picnic area at 10am followed by fun activities. There are lots of picnic tables in the shade. Fun Activities include: beach volleyball, swimming, sand castle contest, boat ride (see Captain Jack Ashworth and Dan Hallal), kayaking, etc.
Please bring your own lunch.
There are a couple of parking lots near the Mother's Beach.
Lot #10 (nearest): 4101 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey: $15. all day
Lot #9: 13977 Palawan Way, Marina Del Rey: $10 max (25 cents/10min.) .
Must pay per each entry.
Our efforts and activities are meant to inspire our community to inherit True Parents' love for the ocean. Through engaging in ocean activities including fishing, sailing, whale watching, kayaking, surfing and just spending time on the ocean, participants are able to experience the power and beauty of the creation and thus build a closer bond with our God.
*Please note that there will be no Service at our church in Monterey Park on September 15.
