WFWP Monthly Meeting
You are invited!
WFWP is inviting you to the Monthly Meeting with a guest speaker, Marie-Paul Baxiu, Doula. She will talk about “What role has the trauma of your birth played in your emotions?”
Marie-Paul Baxiu, a native of France, devotes her time to educate the public about the human rights atrocities committed against Falun Practioners in China. She has been a Clinical Hypnotherapist for the past 29 years and a certified Doula for over 20 years. As such she has helped numerous women birth their babies in a safe and peaceful environment. Her main passion has always been around spiritual growth.
Marie-Paul’s fondest task is to support women in giving birth to healthy, happy babies. As such she takes care of the future mother often from before conception to several weeks after the birth. She knows that it is very important for the baby and mother to experience as little trauma as possible.
Trauma during pregnancy and at birth can affect a person’s emotional well-being their entire lifetime. Often we don’t know why we have certain emotional upsets, fears and anxieties. She will talk about the types of trauma that can occur and what can be done to minimize the effects.
This is your opportunity to find out what you can do for your future children, but also your grandchildren.
You may also have emotional trauma leftover in your being from your own birth experience. What ways can you learn to deal with these?
If time permits and the audience is amenable, we may be able to persuade Marie-Paul hypnotize one of us to re-experience her birth. Please note, we can only do this if there is strict agreement among all for absolute confidentiality.
All are welcome. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 213-608-2005, so we can prepare properly. A $5 donation per person is requested, but not mandatory. The program will start on time. There is much information to cover. Contact: Emma Reed
