The Bridge of Peace Ceremony is the signature project of the Women's Federation for World Peace. Crossing the Bridge of Peace is an opportunity for those who partici-pate to experience healing and reconciliation. No one is exempt from the need for this.

Initiated by our musician, Roberto Pardo, there will be Music Entertainment for church family right after the Service in the backyard on the first Sunday of the month, starting in July 2018. If you want to share your gift with the world, come to the stage! Poetry, Open Mic, Musicians, Karaoke, Dance, entertainment in general. If you need a sound system, please request in advance. Performance time is between 11:30am and 12:30pm.

OHC organizer came to the decision of having one single camp June 24 - 30, instead of having two separate camps. High school and Middle school camp will be going on at same time during the week of June 24 - 30 at Camp Seely. (Leadership date is same as June 21 afternoon - 24 morning.)

   On Sunday, June 10th we will join together as a congregation to honor these young men and women as part of our Sunday Service.  Each family will have the opportunity to share with the congregation. We will also present each child with a copy of the Divine Principle and and a Holy Candle. Please send by June 1st  the following so we can include your family in a special slide show presentation. 

The upcoming Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing will take place in conjunction with the 6th Anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa on Monday, August 27, 2018. The Cosmic Blessing is an opportunity for us to respond to True Parents’ vision to share our Heavenly Parent’s love, life, and lineage with America and the world through the Holy Marriage Blessing.

Thanks to our brother Randy Macfarlane who organized collecting information and ordered printed directory and distributing them for the pas two Directories. The last one was made in 2013. Now we have launched the new Directory project. We encourage all families and single members at the Los Angeles Family Church to be on the new directory!

Starting on May 6th! We are very inspired to start a “Parent and Child Class” in the nursery led by Mrs. Daniela Voelker. Mrs. Voelker has over 20 years of experience teaching Sunday school.

The Hyo Jeong World Peace Foundation has started its recruiting for the HJ Peace Academy (previously the Wonmo Pyeongae Global Scholarship) program in Sun Moon University in Korea for the Fall semester of 2018. This is one of True Mother's special initiatives to support Unificationist youth in their educational course.

National Ocean Challenge Program (NOCP) 2018 is now taking applications for youth ages 16-25 with an adventurous spirit, eagerness to learn, and open minds. This is the 10th anniversary year for NOCP in Kodiak, Alaska and we plan to make it our best year yet!

On Saturday, March 24th, the American Clergy Leadership Conference of Los Angeles held it’s first Interfaith Blessing of Marriage and Family. An array of participants from the interfaith community expressed prayers and remarks on the family as God’s essential foundation for growth, peace and security in our community and our world.

On March 18, the Los Angeles Family Church offered a moving concert in tribute to Hyo Jin Moon, True Parents’ first son who ascended to the spirit world 10 years ago. During his life, Hyo Jin Moon was most passionate about two things: True Parents and music. With his own band, he wrote over a thousand songs, many of which expressed his gratitude and love for his parents.

We will have the quarterly Town Hall Meeting this Sunday, March 25th @12pm in the chapel. All members are welcome to participate. There will be report from the L.A. Family Church Council and Q & A, time to share your opinions. We hope to see you there!

Los Angeles Family Church welcomed Mrs. Gil Ja Sa Eu on March 4, 2018. Our Brother, Dale Frandsen passed away at 2:30 p.m. on March 1, 2018 after several weeks since he suffered from stroke and under ICU treatment with life support.

We do not have details for the following ceremonies yet. Let us pray for his peaceful transition and support the family.

What is Foundation Day? Over the decades, True Parents’ ministry of teaching God’s Word and giving God’s marriage Blessing, carried out by their three-generation family, together with leaders of the world’s religions and nations, was bestowed throughout heaven and earth. Apace with this, True Parents’ own marriage Blessing ascended to the national and global levels and, with it, God was enthroned as King of all kings.
