Please see below and attached the information regarding the Hyojeong Cheonbo Great Works workshop commemorating the 10th Anniversary of True Father's Holy Ascension scheduled for August 12 and August 20, 2022. Thank you all for your heart and dedication in support of Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ providence in America. As you know, this year marks the 10th Anniversary of True Father’s Holy Ascension, which will be observed on August 14. We expect a live broadcast of the main ceremony to allow everyone throughout the world to join this important occasion with True Mother. We will update everyone with the broadcast details as they become available.

As you know, there are two upcoming HJ CheonBo events in July:

1. July 16-17, 2022 in IPEC, Las Vegas

2. July 23-24, 2022 in Belvedere, New York

Registration to participate in the 2-day special event in either Las Vegas or New York is open. You can choose the location you’re planning to attend, and proceed.

Introducing Ocean Challenge Los Angeles!

The vision of Ocean Challenge Los Angeles is to connect people to God and True Parents through the ocean.

Our mission statement is to help the youth and young adults cultivate their faith through experiencing God’s love through nature and to develop their character and confidence through seamanship.

About reviving Sunday Service, pastors and the core team members are working hard on various areas to be taken care of. However, It looks like we need more time to restart it. The planned date of May 1 is postponed for further notice. We appreciate your patience.

Our community will join together as a congregation to honor and celebrate our high school seniors as part of our Roots and Wings ceremony. (The date is still to be decided.)

On Saturday, May 7, we welcomed the new Senior Pastor, Rev. Kevin Thompson, and his wife Mrs. Masako Thompson to L.A. Family Church! The inauguration ceremony took place during the Service. Let us welcome the new leadership and work together in building one family under God. Rev. Thompson remains the Subregion 5 Director and the Senior Pastor of Bay Area Family Church. Our beloved borther Amarjit Takhar passed away early this morning on February 26. He was 63 years old. He is survived by his wife Carol and children, Philip, James and Sarah.

CPFWP (Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace)-USA will host a Filial Piety Writing Contest for age 25 and under. Wrtite an essay with the topic “The Beautiful Time with My Parents”. Submit by April 15. Details are on the flyer.

Thank you all for your consistent efforts to further the providence of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Next month, we will celebrate two important Holy Days in our community. True Parents’ Birthday will take place on Sunday, February 6, and the 9th Anniversary of Foundation Day will be on Sunday, February 13. Due to the persistence of COVID-19, we expect the celebrations to be mostly virtual.
