From Monday, February 25, it will be 40 days until we welcome True Mother in Los Angeles on April 6, so we would like to invite everyone to join together in a special 40-day prayer condition to welcome True Parents. We also continue the weekly national prayer call every Wednesday. Let’s unite in one. Hear and pray for these following points…

We will welcome True Mother in Los Angels on Saturday, April 13th! It will be at the City of Refuge, Bishop Noel Jones, @2pm-4pm. Our goal is to bring 3,000 clergy/minister couples to the Blessing on that day. A Kick-off program will be at the Sunday Service with Rev. Mark Tengan’s message.

Dear Parents of 9th & 10th grade students,

Our team is pleased to offer Il Shim once again for high school students who are in 9th and 10th grade (High School freshmen and sophomores) and to anyone older who did not do it yet, or would like to do it again.

Our dearest brother, a Unificationist-born Second generation, Treven Woolery, has passed away on January 25, 2019, due to complications in organ function about two months after a surgery. He was born with Autism and grew up in much love and care of the family. He was 22 years old.

On January 26th, 2019 another exciting meeting full of joy and educational speeches took place at Pasadena House (UPF Headquarters) from 6 pm to 10 pm. There was a total of 21 guests, including 6 first-time participants…

Rev. Demian Dunkley, President of Family Federation for a Heavenly USA will visit Los Angeles this weekend. He will speak Sunday Service on January 27. After the Service, there will be internal meeting with Rev. Dunkley’s talk and Q & A, which is open to everyone.

Korean Elder Woman, Mrs. Boon Jo Kim who is a member of LA KEA ascended to heaven at midnight on December 4th. She joined the Unification Church on February 27th, 1955… Seonghwa Ceremony will be held this Saturday, December 8th @12pm at Los Angeles Family Church.

Are you interested in a pursuing a college education in Korea and study the language and culture of our True Parents in their homeland? The HJ Peace Academy scholarship offers just that. The HJ World Peace Foundation (formerly the Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation) has started its recruiting for the Pre-HJ Peace Academy Scholarship program at Sun Moon University in Korea for the Spring 2019 semester. All families and college-aged youth are encouraged to consider True Mother’s generous offer of a full tuition scholarship for a full five years of study in Korea.

Preparations for True Parents' Birthday and Foundation Day have started in Korea, and we'd like to forward to you a special invitation for Unificationist youth to participate in True Parents' 2019 Hyojeong Culture and Arts Youth Camp and the Musical to commemorate True Parents’ Birthday and the 6th Anniversary of Foundation Day.

Dear Parents,

We will be organizing transportation for Winter Workshop this year again. We will depart from Pasadena House the morning of the 26th and return the evening of the 30th. If you already have signed up your child to attend the workshop and your child needs a ride, please sign-up as soon as possible. For the next 3 Sundays (December 2, 9 and 16), there will be a sign-up table after church.

Our dearest sister, Monica Ishioka, has passed away on November 13 after a year and a few months of fighting cancer. She was in a hospice care at home and was peaceful surrounded by her family. Her Seonghwa ceremony will be held on December 1st at Allen Brothers in San Marcos. Following is the information.

The Seonghwwa Ministry at the Los Angeles Family Church hosted the 10th Annual Seonghwa Memorial Festival on the evening of Saturday, November 3 at the Pasadena House.
A beautiful table with flowers and offerings were prepared by the Oiwa family and Mrs. Shigeko Lograsso. Keith McCarthy, the emcee, opened the program. After singing a holy song, emcee explained the significance of Seonghwa.

True Parents founded Unification Church International in 1977 to support Unification Churches throughout around the world. However, in 2009, Preston Hyun Jin Moon and certain Unification Church International board members began to take things in a different direction. In April 2010, they went so far as to amend the Articles of Incorporation to remove all references to the Unification Church and the Divine Principle and rename the corporation “UCI”.

Application for Ancestor Liberation/Blessing in the USA Tour was closed on October 17. If you couldn't make it, you may apply directly to Cheongpyeong in Korea by email to: cpint2013@gmail.com. You can still participate Changnyeong session and offering Wish Papers at IPEC.
