In preparation for this Holy Day, True Parents declared a special 40-day period, from Monday, July 8, to Friday, August 16, to offer our sincere prayers and devotions:

1) For True Mother’s health and long life
2) For the success of all events marking the 7th Anniversary of True Father’s Ascension 3) For the victory of Vision 2020 and the firm settlement of Cheon Il Guk on Earth

Our church officially welcomed the newly appointed pastors on June 30th during the Service and the Inauguration Ceremony. Reverend Masaru “Mark” Tengan, Pastor, Pastor George Kazakos and Pastor Jermaine Bishop as Assistant Pastors.

Dear Beloved LA Brothers and Sisters,

Before I move for Atlanta, GA, I’d like to leave a short thank you message to you all. During my farewell Sunday service, I received a lot of thank you cards, and gifts. And also, even after coming back from the rally of Las Vegas, many brothers and sisters sent me beautiful thank you cards and gifts. How can I thank you enough!

Are you interested in a pursuing a college education in Korea and study the language and culture of our True Parents in their homeland? The HJ Peace Academy scholarship offers just that. The HJ World Peace Foundation (formerly the Wonmo Pyeongae Foundation) has started its recruiting for the Pre-HJ Peace Academy Scholarship program at Sun Moon University in Korea for the Fall 2019 semester.

All youth and young adults, from 9th-grade high school students through young adults aged 40, are invited to join a special Youth Evening with Sun Jin Nim on Friday, April 5, 2019, at the LA Family Church. The evening includes a pizza dinner.

As you may have heard we are blessed to welcome Our True Mother in Los Angeles on April 6th. Our families are all working hard to invite friends and to prepare to receive Our True Mother.
Therefore our team has decided to change the schedule for Il Shim; our second workshop will be April 26, 27, 28..

Bishop Noel Jones, Pastor of the City of Refuge church in Los Angeles, has extended an invitation to True Mother to bring the Blessing of Marriage and the Word of God to his congregation and to the thousands of others whom God has prepared. The date is set on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

There are three things I am asking of you all…

"FamiCon", a Tribal Messiahship convocation, seminar, empowering meetings will be held at Los Angeles Family Church from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 3. You are invited! Join us to get connected to the brothers and sisters from all Western Subregion, network, learn and share. Either you are a veteran of Tribal Messiah activities, or you don't have a clue about TribeNet, you are certainly welcomed! Come and find out.

From Monday, February 25, it will be 40 days until we welcome True Mother in Los Angeles on April 6, so we would like to invite everyone to join together in a special 40-day prayer condition to welcome True Parents. We also continue the weekly national prayer call every Wednesday. Let’s unite in one. Hear and pray for these following points…

We will welcome True Mother in Los Angels on Saturday, April 13th! It will be at the City of Refuge, Bishop Noel Jones, @2pm-4pm. Our goal is to bring 3,000 clergy/minister couples to the Blessing on that day. A Kick-off program will be at the Sunday Service with Rev. Mark Tengan’s message.

Dear Parents of 9th & 10th grade students,

Our team is pleased to offer Il Shim once again for high school students who are in 9th and 10th grade (High School freshmen and sophomores) and to anyone older who did not do it yet, or would like to do it again.

Our dearest brother, a Unificationist-born Second generation, Treven Woolery, has passed away on January 25, 2019, due to complications in organ function about two months after a surgery. He was born with Autism and grew up in much love and care of the family. He was 22 years old.

Rev. Demian Dunkley, President of Family Federation for a Heavenly USA will visit Los Angeles this weekend. He will speak Sunday Service on January 27. After the Service, there will be internal meeting with Rev. Dunkley’s talk and Q & A, which is open to everyone.
